Ghana: The Splendors and Job Opportunities

Ghana:

Apart from being a beauty; Ghana is a country where job opportunities are wondrous. Teaching is one of the main professions that you can pursue while being in Ghana; it is one the most sought after volunteer jobs as the education level in the country is gradually on rise. There are many other projects which are being offered in Ghana which include development, HIV/AIDS awareness, and health programs; you can even volunteer in programs such as orphanages.

There are many schools in Ghana and if you’re eligible to teach; there are tremendous opportunities for you here. English is main subject which is being focused in the country and the English teachers are in demand; if you’re good at English you surely can get a job as a qualified teacher in the region. Subject such as Science, arts, chemistry and mathematics can be taught in the schools in Ghana as well. A basic minimum for high school education for this work is required though.

Lake Kariba & Matusadona National Park: the Natural sites of Harare

Most of us waste our holidays just to decide the best traveling destination having full of natural sites. If you are a nature lover then don’t waste your time anymore and grab your cheap flights to Harare. With two million people, Harare is the capital of Zimbabwe. It has numerous parks and gardens to offer but Lake Kariba and Matusadona National Park are in leading position. After Victoria Falls, Lake Kariba and Matusadona National Park are the most popular natural attraction.

Lake Kariba

With the length of 290km and width of 42 km Lake Kariba is the fresh water lake that is located on Zambezi River. It is bordered with Matasudona National Park. With scenic and breathtaking sceneries, the lake trip also offers Santa Barbara Church and Memorial Operation Noah. Around the lake, different villages are housed so by visiting these traditional villages you will come to know about the rural life of Zimbabe. As the lake runs from the wall of the damn, so you can also get around the wall. Wall is about 128 meters in height and 579 meters in length. The local people love to dance around the wall every evening.  If you want to float over water then you can hire a boat to go on tiger fishing. You must also pay a visit to crocodile farms.

Getting to Lake Kariba is not a difficult task, once your cheap Harare flights land on Harare international airport you can easily reach to the Lake. Though the Lake can be visited in any season but months from April to August are the best time. However, if you love fishing then visit the lake in the months of September and October.

Matusadona National Park

Matusadonoa National Park lies on the banks of Kariba Lake. With the area of about 600 square miles, the park is the home of elephants, kudu, Impala, buffaloes, lions and many other animals. In addition to its wildlife, fish eagles are also seen in the park. Due to its rich wildlife, Matusadona National Park has become one of the most popular tourists site in Zimbabwe. At start, it was not well recognized but now its promotion really showed positive results. The park encompasses wooded hills, shorelines and plateaus and presents the perfect sun set. Remember one thing, before being in the park, don’t forget to take a camera through which, you can save your memories in pictures. Walking safari caters the closest view of wildlife but on walking safari you will be given with armed ranger. The park is full of rhinos, cheetahs, leopards and lions so, watching all these animals at one place is the perfect thing to do.

The easiest and best way to access the park is, by boat. Boats are floated over Karbia Lake which takes almost 45 minutes to reach to the park.

Harare has some other must tourists’ sites which are yet to be explored so book your flights to Harare and explorer new natural sites of Harare.
